indeed. Debian 11 desktop is very unstable under VMware Workstation Pro. Itracked this down tohttps://gitlab.freedesktop.org/xorg/xserver/-/issues/1132 and managed tofix it by applyinghttps://gitlab.freedesktop.org/xorg/xserver/-/merge_requests/1061/diffs?commit_id=ba644a64a415962956de72936d21b6527ee8cd57
