Package: libglvnd0
Version: 1.3.4-2+b1
Severity: normal

Hi,
Current glvnd's static device list is problematic when a display
controller is probed at a later point. For an example see

https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/glvnd/libglvnd/-/issues/215

This also happens on e.g. imx8 devices where the 2nd display controller
is brought up at a later point making rendering with e.g. wlroots based
compositor fail (and it works when taking glvnd out of the mix). This
wasn't an issue until wlroots 0.14.1 entered unstable since older
wlroots used another way to figure out display devices.

There's an upstream MR

https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/glvnd/libglvnd/-/merge_requests/239

and I also asked for a new release to make this simpler for
distributions to ship

https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/glvnd/libglvnd/-/issues/226

Cheers,
 -- Guido

Closing as Debian has newer glvnd since some time. Thanks!
