Dear Maintainer,

I was configuring my keyboard layout with the gnome shell panel.
System Settings > Region and Language > Layouts

I selected French (Machintosh) and no other options seems to be suitable
for my laptop (Macbook Pro 8.1). Now, the keyboard apparently have the
correct layout.

However, everytime I log into my Debian, a popup appears:

-------------------------------------------------------------
(X) Error activating XKB configuration.
There can be various reasons for that.
If you report this situation as a bug, include the results of
 - xprop -root | grep XKB
 - gsettings get org.gnome.libgnomekbd.keyboard model
 - gsettings get org.gnome.libgnomekbd.keyboard layouts
 - gsettings get org.gnome.libgnomekbd.keyboard options
-------------------------------------------------------------

This error comes up too when I suspend the laptop

I hope this bug is related to the good package.

Closing this old bug. AFAICT it was never an x11-xkb-utils issue, maybe
a combination of xkeyboard-config and gnome. Hopefully 9 years later
it's been fixed.

Cheers,
Julien
