ah okay, thanks for the explanation… my X knowledge is a bit rusty
(XFree86*cough*), and this is news to me.
So this needs to be fixed in the kernel and/or mesa, or I have to
switch to the non-free packages ☹
Are there corresponding bugreports in linux/mesa already?
