Dear Maintainer,

This is a crasher that is present in xwayland for a long time and
has been fixed already upstream. I have locally built a debian patch
that includes the patches in the merge request linked below and they
certainly fix the issue. I ask you to please include these patches in
a -2 debian release for the time being.
