In that case I suppose this bug can be closed as invalid.
Would you have any suggestion on how to achieve this using some other virtual nesting server? I briefly tried Xdmx to connect two Xephyr displays/screens (not sure about the terminology), but that segfaulted and probably didn't do what I want anyways.
