Source: clutter-1.0
Version: 1.26.2+dfsg-2
Severity: important
Tags: help
Affects: mutter

The clutter build tests fail on Debian but pass on Ubuntu. Therefore,
I will be ignoring tests failures for clutter on Debian. (Because
mutter basically includes a fork of clutter, it has the same problem.)

First, make sure that libgl1-mesa-dri is installed. ( libgl1-mesa-glx
will soon depend on it but that change hasn't reached unstable yet.)

All of the tests fail with errors like this:

-------

ERROR: actor-anchors
====================

(actor-anchors:21072): GLib-CRITICAL **: g_strsplit: assertion 'string
!= NULL' failed
Segmentation fault
ERROR: actor-anchors - missing test plan
ERROR: actor-anchors - exited with status 139 (terminated by signal 11?)

-----

I believe that indicates that the test crashed.

Here's a full build log:

https://buildd.debian.org/status/fetch.php?pkg=clutter-1.0&arch=amd64&ver=1.26.2%2Bdfsg-2&stamp=1504202716

gnome-shell 3.25 build tests also fail on Debian but pass on Ubuntu.
Perhaps a similar cause?

Thanks,
Jeremy Bicha

Specifically the default is now 1280x1024x24

 xorg-server (2:1.20.1-3) unstable; urgency=medium
 .
   * xvfb-run*: Update default resolution and bitdepth to match upstream
     defaults.
   * Limit libunwind to archs that actually have it. (Closes: #909240)

Thanks,
