Well, 64 is still the compile-time baked in default in ptyx.h, it's just
that the XTerm.ad file has been changed "recently" in xterm 192 to
override that[1].  Probably it would make some sense to adjust ptyx.h as
well, after all computers have a bit more memory these days.

According to the MANIFEST file, xterm.dat contains the application
defaults for the VMS port.  I have no idea if xterm still builds on VMS.
