Thanks for the info, could you test with that patch commented out from
debian/series? That extra patch is the first one applied upstream since
1.19.6, and is needed for next mesa or you'd get this:

There are a bunch of glx changes in 1.19.6 too. The regression is in
xserver in any case, and a bug upstream on bugs.freedesktop.org would be
preferable.
