If the Xorg log file of the francesco user is the same, it means Xorg
failed to start up for francesco as well.

That's not really useful, we'd need to see everything from the amdgpu
and radeon kernel drivers and the drm and ttm subsystems at the very least.

Hmm, looks like the upcoming version 1.3.0-1 of
xserver-xorg-video-amdgpu might help, or the upcoming version 1:7.9.0-1
of xserver-xorg-video-radeon.
