Bug#855317: touchpad elantech (ELAN1203:00 04F3:3043 Touchpad) does not work

My touchpad doen't work on my asus G752VS laptop on debian stretch

I tried several solutions found on the web such as:

Modify the grub config like this: GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT = "i8042.reset quiet splash"

Downgrade my kernel with all versions from 3.16 to current

PS: at the last update of xserver-xorg-input-libinput and libinput10 my touchpad is put suddenly to work but after a reboot no longer works
