Dear Maintainer,
It's an older motherboard, MS-7184/7094 with bios setting "Surroundview"
enabled, and using integrated device Radeon Xpress 200 Series (rs480),
and addin board X800 GTO PCI-E (r430) for dual monitor setup. Works very
well, but at bootup see the lines
[drm:radeon_get_legacy_connector_info_from_bios [radeon]] *ERROR* Unknown connector type: 8
unexpectdly disconnected from boot status daemon
and plymouth dies, which is just cosmetic, but I like my solar.
Disabling bios setting Surroundview fixes the problem, but then my integrated
VGA port doesn't function. I'd like to suppress the error, or inform the drm
somehow about the connectors. I don't have documentation about kernel parameter
radeon.connector_table but I thought you might? Thanks.
There is one VGA port on integrated, One VGA on addin board plus an s-video
for TV out, not used. X seems to find additional DVI ports on both cards.
