Openchrome-driver was removed from testing a while ago, today I found, there is actually
a new one:

I filed some bugs already in the Debian BTS regarding the openchrome-driver with some
thin-clients of mine, this particular problem appears with a mobile thin-client, that
fails to show any graphics, only the external VGA-screen works, and I think the situation
is widely unchanged with the new driver-version, just it doesn't point to openchrome.org
anymore, it has a VM800 chipset:

According to my Xorg.0.log the chipset is:

 > [    24.033] (--) CHROME(0): Chipset: P4M800 Pro / VN800 / CN700

The driver correctly detects LVDS-0 monitor:

> [    24.502] (II) CHROME(0): ViaOutputsDetect
> [    24.502] (==) CHROME(0): LVDS-0 : Digital output bus width is 12 bits.
> [    24.502] (==) CHROME(0): LVDS-0 : DVI Center is disabled.
> [    24.502] (==) CHROME(0): LVDS Panel will not be forced.

But the problem there is, that the driver does not take the according
configuration-option from the kernel, it says "LVDS Panel will not be forced", but in fact
it cannot make any use of it at all, only VGA works.
As a workaround I am using the VESA-driver, but it performs poorly, especially switching
from the graphics-screen to virtual terminals takes too long and there is no
graphics-acceleration at all, I would be happy already, when I had proper 2D-output from
openchrome.
