Bug#799211: xorg: Scrolling in browser and evince jolts up CPU usage to 100%

As indicated in this thread:
http://forums.debian.net/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=123716&start=15
the process "/usr/bin/X :0 -seat seat0 -auth /var/run/lightdm/root/:0
-nolisten tcp vt7 -novtswitch" is spiking up everytime by just opening a
new tab(which brings up the default new tab page with the selection of
my recently visited pages), or by visiting pages like youtube, google
maps, stackoverflow etc. It seems to affect a particular type of pages
only though. Additionally same process jolts up if I scroll through a
pdf document in evince. The same things happen if I do the above under a
freshly created user login.
