Package: xserver-xorg Version: 1:7.7+12 After installing gnome-tweak-tool and a reboot keyboard and mouse input were broken. Completely unresponsive, even Ctrl-Alt-BS to leave X or Ctrl-Alt-F1 did not work. I had to login via ssh to kill X. On the console (text mode) the keyboard was fine. A power cycle did not help, i.e. the problem is reproducible. I had to deinstall gnome-tweak-tool and its dependencies to make k&m work again. Here is a list of packages I had to remove: Aptitude 0.7.4: log report Sun, Nov 29 2015 15:12:25 +0100 IMPORTANT: this log only lists intended actions; actions which fail due to dpkg problems may not be completed. Xorg.log is attached. Of course I am not sure that this is a problem with xserver-xorg, but finger-pointing to one of these packages would be a wild guess. Regards Harri
