Bug#804181: xkeyboard-config: lintian warns: xkeyboard-config source: patch-system-but-direct-changes-in-diff docs/iso15924.csv and 21 more
Source: xkeyboard-config
Version: 2.16-1
Severity: minor
Hello!
I just tried building xkeyboard-config with a local patch, and noticed
this lintian warning. It would be nice to switch to a patch system
wholesale (so have a debian/source/format file with "3.0 (quilt)" in
it) and then collect the applied patches into appropriate patch
files. You'll also probably then be able to remove the quilt parts
from debian/rules, though the empty file might still need to be
handled specially.
Best wishes,
Julian
