Bug#799708: x11-xserver-utils: xmodmap has no effect when called from ~/.xsession
Package: x11-xserver-utils
Version: 7.7+5
Severity: important
Dear Maintainer,
My ~/.xsession contains the following:
trayer &
nm-applet &
xmodmap ~/.xmodmaprc
exec xmonad
My ~/.xmodmaprc contains the following:
clear mod1
clear mod4
keycode 64 = Super_L
keycode 133 = Alt_L
add mod1 = Alt_L
add mod4 = Super_L
When I execute `xmodmap ~/.xmodmaprc` by hand, my left Alt and Super key are
switched as intended and expected. However, this does not happen
automatically at login, even though the exact same command appears in my
.xsession file.
Greetings,
JJ
