Dear Maintainer,

After the upgrade of X server and related components a few days ago,
trackpad mouse has been very slow in movement, the longest distance I can
get with my finger on the trackpad yields about 10 pixels on screen, so
practically unusable.

On the other hand, USB mouse uses a normal speed.

I played with xset mouse, but nothing changed.

(I am not sure if this bug is for this package or for
xserver-xorg-input-synaptics.)

Does downgrading -synaptics to 1.7.3-1+b2 help?

Using dpkg -i --force-all xserver-xorg-input-synaptics_1.7.3-1+b1_amd64.deb (after having downloaded the .deb) and restarting the machine: mouse/cursor does not move anymore using the trackpad, but still works with USB mouse.
