Bug#735421: xkb-data: fr(oss) has broken right control

Package: xkb-data
Version: 2.10.1-1
Severity: normal
Tags: patch upstream

Hello,

After upgrading to newer xkb-data, the right control key is not working
any more at all. This happens with fr(oss) only, and is due to commit
518c769d in the git tree. The whole story is on

https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=15804

but in short, to fix some obscure rightcontrol-space shortcut in a
couple applications, upstream applied a patch that makes right-control
a level5 key, instead of leaving it the standard control key. This has
thus broken all standard control-foo shortcuts for the right control
key. This is not acceptable, could 518c769d be reverted in Debian until
they settle on a solution which doesn't break very standard behavior?
