Bug#770665: libxvidcore4: Xvideo not working



Ok at yaboot I entered : Linux "radeonfb:off"

Here are the logs after I logged in. I also tried to run mpv and xv is still not loading.

[vo/xv] No Xvideo support found.

radeonfb is still enabled. You need to disable it with video=radeonfb:off to allow radeon KMS to initialize.


The black screen is probably a login manager (gdm3?) bug: radeonfb and by extension the Xorg fbdev driver default to depth 8, and the login manager probably can't deal with that correctly.
