Package: xkb-data Version: 2.1-2 Severity: normal In commit b611a52d8 upstream kindly renamed dvorak-intl (which did not have dead keys) to dvorak-alt-intl. dvorak-intl now has dead keys, so upgrades from 1.8 or earlier to 2.1 will switch the user's keyboard behaviour. On upgrade from <= 1.8 we should transition users from dvorak-intl to dvorak-alt-intl. See also https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xkeyboard-config/+bug/742683, but I've verified this also affects Debian by upgrading an oldstable chroot to wheezy. -- System Information: Debian Release: squeeze/sid APT prefers natty-updates APT policy: (500, 'natty-updates'), (500, 'natty-security'), (500, 'natty') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.38-8-generic (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_AU.utf8, LC_CTYPE=en_AU.utf8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash -- no debconf information
