Bug#762699: Touchpad speed increases when using extended desktop

Package: xserver-xorg-input-synaptics
Version: 1.8.1-1

Dear maintainer,

When I connect an external screen and configure it to have an "extended
desktop" with arandr, the touchpad speed increases a lot. This has
already been discussed on
https://bugs.launchpad.net/xorg-driver-synaptics/+bug/726832 , and
forwarded upstream to
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=31636 . As I understand, it
should have been fixed upstream (patch
http://patchwork.freedesktop.org/patch/12839/ accepted) but the problem
is still here on Debian testing.

Linux 3.14-2-486 #1 Debian 3.14.15-2 (2014-08-09) i686 GNU/Linux
xserver-xorg 1:7.7+7
xserver-xorg-core 2:1.16.0.901-1

/usr/share/X11/xorg.conf.d/50-synaptics.conf is the default one.
/usr/share/X11/xorg.conf.d/60-touchpad.conf :
Section "InputClass"
        Identifier "activates buttons and scrolling"
        MatchIsTouchpad "on"
    Option "TapButton1" "1"
    Option "TapButton2" "3"
    Option "TapAndDragGesture" "on"
    Option "HorizTwoFingerScroll" "on"
EndSection

Thanks for your time and work,
Yvan Masson
