For a unknown reason, the radeon maintainer does not build glamor and does not enable it in the driver, but will be forced to do so with 1.16.
Look at other bug with glamor in the title. In debian any recent AMD graphic card is unaccelerated because of this.
Taking ubuntu package and recompiling fixes the problem. -- eric
