DSCRIPTION

	The default installation of /etc/X11/xinit/xserverrc reads:

	    exec /usr/bin/X11/X -nolisten tcp

	 The default settings understandably block the TCP
	 connections, but offer no easy way to have local settings --
	 other than modifying the file directly; which unfortunately
	 would cause conflicts during upgrade.

SUGGESTION

The options passed to X could be made configurable with following
change:

1. introduce /etc/default/xserverrc

   # Comment this out to enable TCP connections
   X_OPT="-nolisten tcp"

2. Have /etc/X11/xinit/xserverrc read:

   [ -f /etc/default/xserverrc ] && . /etc/default/xserverrc
   exec /usr/bin/X11/X $X_OPT
