Version: 0.7.6-1
Severity: wishlist

(The title of this bug report is not very well formulated, but I
couldn't find a concise way to describe what I perceive as a problem.
Feel free to retitle.)

When using the basic switcher, if I go through several windows
before finding the one I want to switch to, I first press Alt, then
Tab until I find the one, then I release Alt. While Alt is kept
pressed, the "current" window is kept at the front, and the others are
"pushed back" a bit and darkened. Tab pushes the "current" one to the
back (and darkens it), and brings another one forward (and brings its
original colours back too). This is undoubtedly the intended
behaviour. Where I feel an improvement could happen is that when Alt
is released, then the "current" window is pushed back with all the
others before coming up again, which breaks the flow.

I suggest that the window currently selected stay on top, so it can
be used immediately when releasing Alt. The other windows can take
their time coming back to the front, but the current one shouldn't, in
my mind, be subject to another movement since it's already focused and
on top at the moment I relase Alt.

Roland.
