Indeed!

tglase@tglase:~ $ DISPLAY=:2 twm
twm:  unable to open fontset "-adobe-helvetica-bold-r-normal--*-120-*-*-*-*-*-*"

Fails. (:2 is a tightvncserver I just started without wm,
since IceWM seems to segfault in sid right now.)

tglase@tglase:~ $ LC_ALL=C DISPLAY=:2 twm

… works. Confirmed this bug.
