Bug#716783: weston: Create weston-launch group
Package: weston
Version: 1.1.1-1
Severity: wishlist
Hi,
According to http://wayland.freedesktop.org/xserver.html#heading_toc_j_8
weston should be started either when using a logind session or if the
user is member of the weston-launch group:
sudo groupadd weston-launch
sudo usermod -a -G weston-launch $USER
# Log all the way out (of X, etc.)
sudo chown root weston-launch
sudo chmod +s weston-launch
weston-launch
I guess the the package should already create the "weston-launch" group (and
also maybe set the setuid flag).
Cheers
Laurent Bigonville
