Package: xbase-clients
Version: 4.3.0.dfsg.1-8
Severity: minor
File: /usr/X11R6/bin/xman

Long one line message lines in "warnShell" will go off the edge of the
screen leaving the user no way to see them in full.

Nor does there seem a way to use cut and paste to save what it says.

P.S., these days there is a warnShell, no three, for every man page I
try, telling me to clear the [something].

Ah,
$ which xman|xargs strings|egrep -i compres\|wrong ...
Something went wrong in retrieving the %s
uncompressed manual page try cleaning up /tmp.

Any thing special in /tmp? Mention it. Maybe

       /tmp Xman creates temporary files in /tmp for all
                                unformatted man pages and all apropos
                                searches.

OK, but I don't see any of those files there.
Starting xman as root didn't help either.
