There's lots of changes between those two kernels, and there's a gazillion possible reasons for the symptoms you've seen. Just because it's the same symptom doesn't mean it's the same bug. So if you still have issues with the latest code then give us the corresponding X and kernel logs and we can take a look. Keeping bug reports open from old code is just noise. Cheers, Julien
