Package: xserver-xorg-video-intel
Version: 2:2.20.14-1
Severity: wishlist

Dear Maintainers,

Some are waiting patiently for 2.20.0, which supports the shiny new Intel Haswell integrated graphics. For the impatient, like me, the solo experimental package works fine.

Note on kernel i915 driver's washed out or weathered color issues: Colors can likely be fixed with: xrandr --output HDMI1 --set "Broadcast RGB" "Full". I didn't care for the xclient solution, so I hacked intel_hdmi.c, forced the intel_hdmi->color_range check to zero because the auto-detection fails. It would be nice to have a module setting for that.

[ debugging info ommited ]

So if it's already working I'm not sure what the point of this bug is.
Closing.
