Considering that
1) you're not using xserver-xorg-input-mouse
2) there's no "new testing version", you're running the exact same
   kernel and X versions as have been in testing for months
I'm going to have to close this bug as invalid.  It's much more likely
to be a kernel issue than an X one, in any case.
