Bug#623108: x11-xserver-utils: Reassigning anything no longer works

Package: x11-xserver-utils
Version: 7.7~3
Followup-For: Bug #623108

I receive this same error, and it affects all xmodmap evaluations/reassignments, not just altgr.
This breaks certain behaviour in stumpwm (likely another bug, but that's not why we're here now) in ways that have me in the framebuffer.

I could theoretically do some testing/work under ratpoison, but I'll wait for info.
Thanks
