I think I'm running into the same issue on a Dell Latitude E6530.
Although I have to admit I'm not very experienced in debugging a
seemingly random freeze. It can really happen any time of the day,
during any action. The system freezes completely. no mouse, no keyboard,
no alternative TTY. Also sound freezes and starts skipping.

I'm running on a Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-3320M, and my system also contains
an nvidia NVS5200M.

Previously, I was using the 3.6 kernel from experimental. That made the
issue go away for me, but after finding this bug report I'm on the 3.2
kernel again with the xserver-xorg-video-intel package from
experimental. I'll report back if that possibly fixes it as well.

For what it's worth, seems there are also a lot of people on ubuntu that
suffer from this, but the bug report on launchpad is also cluttered with
reports of issues that don't seem to be the same:
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xserver-xorg-video-intel/+bug/993187

Let me know if there's anything I can do to help debug it. I'd be more
than happy to help out.

Cheers,

Frederic
