Okay, thanks for checking!  And for providing the info Sven asked for.

So you're seeing errors already, but there are no ill effects yet?

I'd like to know if it really does end up crashing this time.  And then:

* can Alt-F1 still switch consoles?  (you said no before)
* does the mouse pointer still move?  (I guess not?)
* can you find anything specific that triggers it?  (so far, no?)

And then I think there will be enough information to file an upstream
bug report.  Hopefully someone else has some ideas though.
