Bug#696554: System freezes and lockups



Okay, I've switched back to the nouveaux driver now. I am really hoping to stick with nouveaux and stay away from non-free repos, so I really hope you can help resolve this issue.

I initially marked this bug as Serious due to the catastrophic nature of the the system freezing I ran into resulting in potential data loss.
