Package: libsdl1.2debian
Version: 1.2.14-6.4
Severity: important
The video output of programs using SDL freezes completely. After moving the window, the
output is updated again for a few seconds, then it freezes again, while all other aspects
of the program continue running.
I have experienced the issue with ScummVM, Dosbox and "The Legend of Edgar".
For Dosbox a workaround is changing the output setting from "surface" to "opengl".
The issue doesn't occur always, for example with "The Legend of Edgar" it occured only after playing for ten minutes,
but then it usually stays even after rebooting. It didn't even vanish from ScummVM after removing the (ScummVM) package and
building the newest development version.
