Bug#655183: libdrm: screen sometimes remains off after suspend/resume

[Not sure about the package, but error messages suggest a problem
with drm, as seen below.]

With my DELL Latitude E6400, the screen sometimes remains off after
suspend/resume. I need to reboot the machine (I can usually do that
by connecting via SSH, but I can't always connect).

It seems that this problem always occurs until I type
"xrandr --output LVDS-1 --auto". This solves the problem for the
next suspend/resume occurrences, until the problem occurs again.

I've attached 3 files (excerpts of /var/log/syslog):

log-fail - logs for a case where resume failed.
log-pass - logs for a case where resume passed.
log-diff - the diff between these two logs.

Only in the case of failure, on has the following lines in the logs:

Note: this problem can occur whether I'm logged in (using FVWM
as the window manager, no desktop environment) or I'm at the
login prompt (with gdm3).

I've also attached the Xorg.0.log file (but the tests were done
without an external monitor).
