Did not help either.
I'm starting to think it may be caussed by hardware malfunction. (wild goose chase?) I've noticed that system does not hang - I'm able to go to a console login and reboot. The screen ends 10cm below the monitor so i have to gues some things. If it would be helpful I may try to record the incident.
