Hi Michael, I put up notice 3 weeks ago on debian-devel that Xprint is
due for removal, and have been waiting since then for "due diligence" to
give anyone a chance to respond.  3 weeks is enough time, no one has
indicated that they'll miss it, so I'll be requesting the removal
formally very soon.  

libXp is bit more tricky, for instance the proprietary commercial
software matlab uses it, but I'll have the other Xprint packages
removed.
