Well, I can't say there is no change. I tried a couple of times with
this server: first time it simply reset my machine, second time it led
to a soft lockup, third time to a reset again, and then I finally lost
my browser state, and now the page loads OK in a new browser session.
But the Xorg server did not give a backtrace in a single case... :-/
Not too conclusive, I have to admit. Will continue testing in the next
days, also by going back to the squeeze Xorg server.
