Bug#616093: LibreOffices file open dialog the whole system gets halted (with nouveau)

I'm experiencing a similar issue. I'll browse with KDE Dolphin to an OSD file, double click it, and LibreOffice will lock up my system. Mouse moves, clicks do nothing. No keyboard control.

I'm running Sid, 2.6.37-trunk-amd64.

ii libdrm-nouveau1a 2.4.24-2 Userspace interface to nouveau-specific kernel DRM services -- runtime
ii nouveau-build-deps 1.0 dependencies to build nouveau
ii xserver-xorg-video-nouveau 1:0.0.16+git20110411+8378443-1 X.Org X server -- Nouveau display driver (experimental)

Xorg 1:7.6+6
KDE: 4.4.5

I have a laptop and one DVI monitor. I was getting the Xorg font error, so i installed ibus. That did not help. Didn't check if the error message went away.

More specifically when LibreOffice opens up, the right screen repaints itself like the left one. localc did open and appeared to be running fine for 5 seconds. I can drag the window around. This repaints the screen to what it should be, except the KDE Task Manager never did repaint itself correctly. Then i switched to Kmail and the system froze up.

I'll be using KSpread for now.
