The macros XFIXES_MAJOR and XFIXES_MINOR are set to 5 and 0 for the version
in wheezy, which is currently 4.0.5
This makes building the latest version of gnome-shell fail, since it checks
for major version of 5 or higher to use pointer barriers, which are not
defined in the version currently in wheezy.

It should check for the library side of it (maybe in addition to the
proto side if you want to make sure). In the wheezy version, this is
correctly reported as:

| Requires: xproto fixesproto >= 4.0
