The driver is nvidia, version 195.36.31+2+4+2.6.32-24. It is enough to restore cursor visibility, then run "metacity --replace" and the problem does not exist: after 10 resumes cursor never disappeared. Same driver, same X Window session. Come back to 3D using "compiz --replace", suspend, resume and cursor disappears again. On Son, 2011-03-13 at 18:10 +0100, Artur Swat wrote:Package: compiz Version: 0.8.4-4 Severity: normal --- Please enter the report below this line. --- "Disappears" means "the cursor is there, I can use trackpoint or mouse to browse menu, start the applications, it's just not visible".That's more likely a problem in the graphics drivers you're using than in compiz.
Switching to metacity ("metacity --replace", then "compiz --replace") does not bring cursor to a visible state. So does switching to first, text console. The only workaround is to use "Gnome - logout <user> - switch user" then login again to the same session.
