severity 61252 serious thanks I my opinion the cause of this is some change in mesa. Assigning it to mesa for assistance. severity serious as I find it should not migrate to testing before the situation is clarified (as more packages could be affected by this). the latest ubuntu mesa update also introduces the problem but only in version 7.10.1 (whereas debian has it since 7.9+repack-1) https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/mesa/+bug/732809
