compiz-fusion folded with compiz some time ago.

compiz-fusion-plugins-main newest version is 0.8.7, and will stay there.

compiz-plugins-main (upstream current name) is at 0.9.0, should be packaged, and be the dependency for compiz.

It uses cmake as build system.
