Hi Klaus, Klaus Doering <klaus.doering@bigfoot.com> (27/02/2011): > Hi, first time bug-reporter here... :) > Sid saw a kernel upgrade from 2.6.32 to 2.6.37 two weeks ago > (?). FWIW, you can see (parts of) the package's history at: http://packages.qa.debian.org/l/linux-2.6.html > Since then the touchpad on my Acer Travelmate 8571 doesn't work > as before: the vertical scroll action sometimes works for one > stroke, and then doesn't respond anymore. I'd suggest your reporting your bug upstream directly, I guess Peter should be able to tell you what's supposed to happen, what's buggy, and how to deal with it: http://bugs.freedesktop.org/ (product xorg, component Input/synaptics) (Might be kernel changes, or the driver needing tweaking/configuration to deal with those.) Please let us know the bug number afterwards (and/or add me to Cc when filing the bug). Thanks already! KiBi.
