Please can you add an entry to the FAQ on how to configure two displays.

Here is a starting point:

   Q) Using more than one monitor (Dual head)
  
  
  If you are using the nvidia driver, and wish to use the "TwinView"
  feature, then more detailed instructions can be found in
  /usr/share/doc/nvidia-glx/README.gz
  
  An example using two video cards to drive two displays can be found in
  ***insert example filename here***.
  
  An example using a video card capable of driving two displays can be
  found in ***insert example filename here***.
  

What I struggled to work out from the instructions - though it now
seems obvious from the example in the nvidia readme.  You need to have
two "Device" entries identical except that the first should have have
the command Screen 0, and the second Screen 1. (I have in fact not
tried this as I got the Twinview setup working - but I think that this
was my problem).

New documentation[1] shipped again in xserver-xorg; probably not quite
complete yet, but work is going on. Closing this bug accordingly.
