Bug#610469: xserver-xorg-video-radeon: text textures torn under warzone2100 unusable either.

whoops

#sudo apt-get  -t experimental install `dpkg -l   "libgl*mesa*"|egrep ^ii|awk '{print $2}'` xserver-xorg-video-radeon xserver-xorg-core libgcrypt11

--> xserver-xorg-core from experimental depends with libgcrypt11 >= 1.4.6, only 1.4.5-2 is available.

attempting same on unstable:

    libdrm-dev libdrm-intel1 libdrm-nouveau1a libdrm-radeon1 libdrm2 libgcrypt11
  libgcrypt11-dev libgl1-mesa-dev libgl1-mesa-dri libgl1-mesa-dri-dbg
  libgl1-mesa-glx libgl1-mesa-glx-dbg libglu1-mesa libgpg-error-dev
  libgpg-error0 libkms1 libtalloc2 mesa-common-dev xserver-common
  + xserver-xorg-*

xserver-xorg-video-radeon got upgraded to version 6.14.0-1, libgl1-mesa-* 7.10-4, and generally all of xserver-xorg-*, except xserver-xorg-video-radeonhd which got the axe (no surprise so far)

results:

    * under compiz, none of the games I tried work. Compiz menus are fine, but some windows maybe fail to get redrawn (tested in slightly too much of a hurry). Games don't work (all of supertuxkart & warzone2100); all that shows is a mouse cursor while the opening music plays

    * without compiz, these two games start, and the corruption I mentioned early on does not seem to appear anymore. Under supertuxkart, I was able to start a race and run a few meters (before I quit). Under warzone2100, the menus were perfectly clear and I could start a skirmish, with unmeasured but apparently pretty good fps, even when dragging the terrain around (right-click...drag&shake), all text appeared good.

In a nutshell, while there might be some fine-tuning with respect to compiz, there is very clear progress, and the specific defect I was complaining about simply vanished!

thanks
