Bug#613968: using nouveau.noaccel=1 causes a pixel shift issue
Package: xserver-xorg-video-nouveau
Version: 1:0.0.16+git20101210+8bb8231-2
Severity: important
Experiencing bug #610987, I have tried the suggested solution of using nouveau.noaccel=1 in my boot parameter. The problem now is that doing so with a screen with a native resolution of of 1440*900, the display looks "corrupted", in the sense that the rows are all shifted a few pixels left, making the display unusable. The mouse cursor displays fine though.
The output of lspci wrt to my video card is:
01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: nVidia Corporation GT216 [GeForce GT 330M] (rev a2)
