Since one of the last upgrades (IIRC shortly after Debian 6.0 was released), xorg or the intel module floods the Xorg log with modelines,
rendering the PC useless for a couple of seconds. Both cores of the CPU are in full use at these moments, Xorg allmost freezes (*very*
slow reaction to mouse or keyboard inputs). The behaviour is not really predictable, it comes and goes. Maybe it occurs only after coming
back from suspend (memory), I'm not sure. I'm still trying to find a pattern in this behaviour. Often, the flooding occurs about every
20 seconds, blocks the system for about 10 seconds, and stops some minutes later (often I try to get the system working again by going
to suspend again, or playing with xrandr, or something else. Nothing really predictable.).
